He was born in 1976 in Ankara. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education at TED Ankara College. He entered Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. After graduating from medical school in 1999, he started his specialty training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ear Nose and Throat Diseases in the same year. He became an ENT specialist in 2004. Between 2004-2005, he worked as a specialist in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ear Nose and Throat Diseases. He became Associate Professor in 2012. He resumed his academic career, which he took a break for a while, in 2014 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of ENT. In 2015, he conducted studies on the surgical treatments of sleep apnea at Stanford University in the United States. In 2016, she completed the necessary training and became a polysomnography (sleep tests) certificate. In 2018, he received his certificate on 'Robotic Surgery' at the IRCAD Research Center in Strasbourg, France. His main areas of interest are surgical treatments for sleep apnea and snoring, and surgical treatments for nasal-sinus diseases. Professor Doctor Ahmet Emre Süslü has book chapters and articles published in more than 80 national and international books and journals. He took part as a speaker in many national and international scientific meetings, gave lectures, courses and made scientific presentations on various subjects. Finally, he received the title of Professor in 2019.
Professor Doctor Ahmet Emre Süslü is married and has two daughters.
